So, my canine companion, Lucy, is overweight according to her vet. She's gained 11.5 lbs since her last visit and needs to lose 5-8 of those LBs... I am using this as my motivation! It's time for us to take our asses for a jog...regularly...no excuses. Even if I try to excuse myself from running, I can't excuse her. I want my usually sweet, some times biatchy four-legger to live as long as possible without hip dysplasia or diabetes... Along the way I intend to get to the bottom of some bad habits and incorporate some eating habits that are sane and reasonable. Elaborating on my original "Bowl Plan" by incorporating dessert plates to further the myriad of food possibilities while staying on a portion control track that seems reasonable.
Body By Vi did not work for me, leaving me feeling shaky and malnourished. My skin also was bad for a short period and I think it had something to do with it. Besides when I figured out how many calories I was not consuming with Body By Vi, I felt it was more like an "Anorexia Shake" that kind of tasted like diluted cake batter... So wish me luck! I'm still down the 10 lbs I lost with the original "Bowl Plan", but the boringness of the bowl had to be counter-acted. Bright side: With fall fastly approaching I am looking forward to soup and chili, and therefore will be utilizing the bowl in the near future.
I plan on doing a lot of research and trying to ultimately find a plan that works for sane people... who would like to be healthy... and getting my little Lucy back in to her skinny jeans :)
